So, I said "Eff it" (really - I only use profanity in the car) and painted a picture instead. It IS for my daughter's room - Does that count?
It is not finished, but I think I will hang it up on her bare walls for now.Maybe that hat will come together tomorrow ;).

Well, this art print looks fantastic! I would have loved something like that in my room as a kid.
A friend of mine just wrote a children's book which was published this month. The afro puffs on your little girl in the picture reminded me of the book's character. Check it out: "TuTu goes green." http://www.tutusgreenworld.com/index.html

There are sooo many things I like about this painting. I like her skin color and I like her afro puffs and the little crochet bow in her hair!
