Itty Bitty Baby Dress.

I cannot tell you how many times I have attempted and failed to finish a sewing pattern! I have always wanted to learn to sew from a pattern so that I can make my own clothes or refashion something I do not like. But something about pattern following I have not been able to do. It may be my fundamental aversion to rules.

Well, that all changed yesterday! I used this pattern from Made by Rae And I made this dress!

(you are supposed to tie the tops together to make the sleeves). Don't you just LOVE free patterns?

I am so happy I was able to complete it! Maybe it is because the pattern is SUPER simple. Maybe it is because I am motivated to dress up my little doll daughter. Or maybe I am getting over my rule-phobia (probably not).

Whatever it is, I hope it continues! There are so many things I want to make for her.
