Slacker...

So do you ever read other people's blogs and feel like a complete slacker? You see all these other women creating these wonderful, beautiful things in their wonderful, beautiful houses and you look at yourself and say: "What have I done lately?"

Well, I do. Here are some of my favorite blogs that make me feel like a loser:

Breaking Down the Big Beige Box
This lady is a freaking design maven. Although her design style is completely different than mine - I am super jealous of her apartments. She is so good at looking at a room and knowing how to transform it with out spending a gazillion dollars. She needs her own show on HGTV.

House Wren Studio
This lady has a fabulous Etsy shop and her taste is so... tasteful..? Whatever, just check her out and you will see what I mean. Her style is again pretty different than mine - but impeccable, nonetheless...

Lotus of Wadi Arts
This lady's style is the closest to mine AND she is gorgeous! And, and, and she is a real life artist. She paints these amazing pictures...

Handmade by Beth Gracie
This woman lives in a huge, awesome house in New Jersey with so much land she is planting a strawberry patch. A strawberry patch, really? In your backyard? She makes me sick. And her quilting is so amazing - I kinda like want to erase my quilting post from few days ago after seeing her quilts.

Soule Mama
And this lady does (almost) all of the above with 5 children! What the heck? And she published 2 books - one of which was on my Amazon wishlist before I stumbled upon her blog!

Besides taking a hit to my self-esteem, reading these blogs does make me want to better my life... and my blog.

I have been reading your blog since last night and I really enjoyed it. Although, your post about naturally giving birth to your daughter made it hard to sleep last night (I am 8 months pregnant with my first) lol!, every other post was fun to read. You are very talented and seem like a great mom. Keep up the good work. I wish I could create such beautiful things.
