Peach JAM!

So, Zekey and I along with our neighbors took a trip out to a peach farm: Gardner Farms to be exact.

We picked TONS of peaches. Probably too many, actually.

I gave some away. We ate a lot.

And I made Jam!



It was SO much work! I had to peel the peaches, core them, cut them up, cook them with sugar and lemon juice, and THEN can them. It was a LOT of work. I don't know if I will do it again - with peaches, anyway. I think I want to try strawberries, though. With them, you don't have to peel or cut them up.
