My classes are filled with men. My FIELD is filled with men. Why? I sometimes ponder.I think that one of the reasons is because the field is so unattractive. Most of the books have something super boring looking like the leads on some part or an expressionless male worker with a hard hat on.
So, in order to make sure I am not bored to tears, I decorate my notebook with pink resistors, red capacitors, and blue inductors.
A thought crossed my mind that maybe I was *disrespecting* the field. But then I had to stop myself, why is feminizing something disrespecting it?
